Anurag Chitlangia

Anurag Chitlangia is a Product Lead for Alternative Payments at Uber, where he leads the portfolio across Rides & Eats—helping customers pay with their preferred methods across 70+ markets. His work sits at the intersection of user experience, reliability, cost, and compliance, with a simple goal: make payments feel “invisible” so riders and eaters can focus on the journey, not the transaction.

Anurag’s domain is payments and FinTech, spanning alternative payment methods (A2A transfers, wallets, local methods, vouchers, BNPL) as well as payouts and platform capabilities that scale globally while still meeting local market nuance. Before Uber, he held product roles at Just Eat Takeaway.com and Booking.com, including work on payout success and payment instrument platforms.

At Product Academy, Anurag coaches and mentors product people with a warm, practical approach—especially around FinTech, stakeholder management, and product strategy. He’s also an experienced trainer and facilitator for courses on Conflict Management, Growth Mindset, and Partnership with Business.

Outside of work, Anurag loves learning—especially about different cultures and entirely new topics. And his latest learning rabbit hole has been Bonsai trees and Surfing.
