Mario Schwarz

Mario is originally from the South of Germany where "Schaffa schaffa, Häusle baua" (meaning work, work, work and build houses) is the people's slogan and deeply rooted into its' culture. This has shaped his strong work ethic and high resilience while staying humble from a young age on. He is a Product Enthusiast and Leader with more than 12 years of experience under his belt and has a Software Engineering background from which he consciously turned to Product Management after his studies to more frequently apply his personal strong suits such as communication, planning and creative skills.

In Product, he has worked on the B2B, B2B2C and B2C side for various scale-ups and corporates within the Document Management, Marketplace and Fintech space such as ebay, heycar, Docuware and Hypoport. Mario enjoys building deep, meaningful relationships with the individuals around him and serving them to thrive in building kick-ass products that solve real customer problems and move the needle on the business.

For this, he puts great emphasis on leading the way through strong vision, context and an actionable strategy that leverages competitve advantages and is in line with the company's why, its' objectives and Northstar metrics. When coaching Product Professionals, Mario nurtures and evangelizes lean, pragmatic approaches around user-centricity and data-informed decision making within tailored opportunities for personal growth. He is convinced that focus and clear responsibilities are key for Product and Business success and loves achieving challenging outcomes together as a team.
